What preparations do I need to do before you arrive?
In order for us to start with no delay, we ask that you tidy the floors as much as possible (shoes/toys etc) and decide what furniture is staying put. We can move the smaller pieces of furniture to clean under them, but we tend to leave the larger heavier furniture (wardrobes, dressers, pianos etc).
How long does it take to dry?
Because the hot water extraction process takes away up to 80% of the moisture, it will only take 2-4 hours to be totally dry. its a god idea to keep the windows open and in winter have the heat on.
Are you fully insured?
Yes we have public liability insurance up to £1,000,000
What equipment do you use ?
We use modern hot water extraction machines and products from the leading Alltec Network. Our staff are trained to recognise the varying carpet fabrics and to then apply the most suitable solutions for the best cleaning results. All the machines are regularly cleaned and sanitised between jobs.
Are the solutions /chemicals safe?
Yes we use child and pet safe products. Furthermore, the hot water solution is mixed with a sanitiser named 'Envirosafe'. This will remove harmful bacteria viruses and odours - (Including the Sars-Cov 2 Coronavirus.)
Do you guarantee stain/spot removal?
There is no absolute guarantee for total success. However our staff are trained in spot removal using an array of products that effectively works with the carpet to restore the PH balance to counteract the stain. This is quite impressive science based knowledge that does work very well - but there's a lot of extra factors at play - not least how old the stain is and if its been treated by any domestic chemical in the interim. We will know more about the stain after inspection.
What is the post protection idea and is it necessary?
This is an option for you to think about. It's an added layer of protection that works similarly to the wax job on a car wash. There is an added fee for this but may work out cheaper in the long run. During the initial inspection the team will be able to advise on this.
How do you take payment?
We take card or cash payments. Our staff have portable card reader machines to take payment once you are satisfied with the job.
What is your cancellation policy?
We require at lest 48 hours notice. But we equally understand that, at the moment, circumstances change on a dime - so, we're being flexible with this too!
Do you clean upholstery too?
Yes we do. We have the most suitable solutions for varying materials including 'wool-safe' products. We don't however clean leather upholstery..
